Official Statement on the Ongoing Ukraine Crisis | Backendless

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

With heavy hearts, we have been watching the situation unfold in Ukraine with shock and disgust. Backendless has many invaluable team members that live and work in Ukraine, including many in Kyiv itself. We as a company stand in support of the people of Ukraine and unequivocally denounce the actions of the Russian military and their atrocious authoritarian political leadership toward the sovereign nation of Ukraine.

Ukraine is and will remain an important part of our team and our company. Our Ukrainian team has played a central role in the development of our platform and the growth of our company over the past decade. We will continue to provide all support and assistance to our Ukrainian team that we can during the ongoing crisis. Ukrainian team of Backendless, we are thinking of you. We hope for nothing more than a swift return to peace and stability, where you and your families are safe.

In solidarity with the world, we will be blocking access to Backendless for anyone coming from the aggressor’s territory. This is our official position.
